Why This Matters Now

As AI changes how content is created and delivered, facilitation is becoming more essential—not less.

What sets exceptional facilitators apart isn’t information delivery. It’s the ability to:

  • read a room
  • navigate resistance and emotion
  • adapt in real time
  • build trust and connection
  • move people toward meaningful change

The Facilitation Studio develops the human skills that cannot be automated.

Why Organizations Invest in the Studio

Consultants and Specialists

The Problem

You invest in professional development, but the results are inconsistent. Too often, people leave thinking, that was a waste of time. And little, if anything, actually changes in practice.

It’s not just a content problem or a facilitation problem. It’s both.

Smile icon

The Shift

Your facilitators build the capacity to design and lead learning that works in real conditions, with real people, real resistance, and real constraints.

The Result

Sessions are purposeful and worth people’s time. Participants stay engaged and do meaningful thinking. Learning translates into day-to-day practice.

The Impact Compounds

1
Every Session Imrpoves
1
Every Facilitator gets stronger
1
Every team
benefits.
  • Every session improves.
  • Every facilitator gets stronger.
  • Every team benefits.

This is how you turn professional development from something people endure into something that actually changes practice.

Become a Certified Facilitator

Studio participants have the opportunity to become certified in the Art of Facilitation by demonstrating their ability to design and lead learning that changes practice.

This is not a completion certificate. Certification reflects demonstrated skill over time through practice, feedback, and real-world application.

Earning this credential signals professional rigor and readiness. It strengthens your credibility as a facilitator, consultant, or leader responsible for guiding meaningful learning.

Want to understand what certification requires and how it works?

Why Bright Morning

Deliberate Partnership
What Our Community is Saying

“I’ve become much more intentional about creating learning environments where participants understand what they’re doing, why they’re doing it, and how they’ll engage. That clarity has reduced barriers before sessions even begin. I also learned the power of pausing, paraphrasing, and making space for every voice in the room.”

What Our Community is Saying

“This learning completely shifted how I think about facilitation. I spend less time over-explaining and more time creating space for participants to think, reflect, and engage deeply with the content. I’ve also become much more intentional about bringing my authentic self into training spaces instead of trying to facilitate perfectly.”

Director of Training and Support
What Our Community is Saying

“I’m much more confident tending to emotions in the room instead of avoiding them. I now design with far greater clarity of purpose, which has transformed how I facilitate and helped me create learning experiences that feel meaningful from beginning to end. We immediately applied what we learned to a state-level PD session, and the impact was so strong that we created a planning protocol we now use for all of our trainings.”

Frequently Asked Questions

How is the Art of Facilitation Certification earned?

Studio participants can pursue Art of Facilitation Certification. Certification is not automatic; it reflects demonstrated skill.

  • Complete all 24 Skill Sessions
  • Actively participate in each monthly Studio practice session
  • Attend all four Quarterly Facilitator Intensives with Elena Aguilar
  • Submit facilitation artifacts (agendas, session designs)
  • Demonstrate integration of Bright Morning’s facilitation approach

Certification signals that you can design and lead learning that changes practice, not just deliver content.

What is the cost for certification?

$500 covers artifact review, feedback, certificate, and a digital badge to be displayed on your LinkedIn profile.

When are the monthly Studio sessions and Quarterly Facilitator Intensives held?

The Studio sessions kick off on Thursday, December 10, 2026 at 8 am–10 am PT (10 am–12 pm CT/11 am–1 pm ET).

The first Quarterly Facilitator Intensive will take place in 2027.

2027 dates will be posted this fall.

What if I miss a session or intensive?

It depends on your goals.

If you are pursuing certification, consistent participation is required. Certification is based on demonstrated practice over time, and the live sessions are where that practice happens.

Here’s how attendance works for certification:

  • Skill Sessions and Ask Elena recordings are available on-demand and must be completed as part of the learning experience.
  • Monthly Studio (practice) sessions are required. One absence is allowed, with an alternative option to practice and receive feedback with another Studio participant. If you miss a session, you are responsible for arranging and completing this make-up practice in a timely way.
  • Quarterly Facilitator Intensives are required and cannot be missed.
If you’re unable to attend, you can join that intensive in a future cohort, which will delay your certification timeline.

If you are not pursuing certification, you have more flexibility in how you engage.

You can attend the sessions that are most relevant to your work and schedule. That said, the full experience is designed to build your skill, confidence, and judgment over time—so your level of participation will directly impact your outcomes.

Can I join if I’m not a full-time facilitator?

Yes. If you facilitate as part of your role and want to get better at designing and leading groups, you’ll fit right in.

Is this more like a course or more like ongoing support?

It’s both!

The workshops offer structured, foundational learning. The Facilitation Learning Library and Studio sessions provide ongoing support—giving you a place to practice, get feedback, and work through real facilitation challenges as they arise. Together, they combine the clarity of a course with the flexibility and relevance of ongoing support.
