How to Begin Conversations about Racial Identity

June 22, 2020

In Episode 5 of The Bright Morning Podcast, I spoke to a very special person who told me a story about a couple of powerful conversations about race, racial identity, and racism. I want you to be able to have powerful conversation—conversations that heal and bring us into closer, healthier community with each other.

One way to do this, one step, is to have conversations about identity. And, in order to share my thoughts about how you can do this, here’s an excerpt from my forthcoming book, Coaching for Equity. I’ve only shared drafts of this book with a tiny handful of people, so this is the first time I’m sharing a chunk with the whole world! I hope it’s helpful.
